The EnergyMakers Show is a weekly video podcast/broadcast featuring interviews with energy industry thought leaders, innovators and public policy makers as they discuss challenges and solutions to the world’s rapidly increasing thirst for energy. The EnergyMakers Show is an outgrowth of The BusinessMakers Show, the show that champions entrepreneurship and innovation.
The EnergyMakers Show is hosted by Paul Dickerson, an attorney and investment banker. He is a recognized leader and sought-after speaker on all matters related to energy. He practices law with Mintz Levin’s Corporate & Securities Section in Boston, while also working as a Managing Director for the investment bank of WoodRock & Co. in Houston. He served as Chief Operating Officer of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, overseeing a $2 billion annual budget while managing the international commercialization of advanced energy solutions like bio-fuels, solar, wind, and efficiency technologies. He also served as Chief of Staff for the Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he managed a worldwide network of 1,700 employees in 260 offices. A CPA with licenses under FINRA, Paul frequently appears on the media circuit discussing energy, investing, politics, business, private equity, and international trade.
